About Dr. Kristina Zoulas

After many years of rigorous education and diverse clinical practice, Dr. Kristina Zoulas truly understands the value of quality patient care and how to provide it. Adhering to the principles of conservative dentistry, she continually stresses the importance of treating fewer patients per day, and spending more time with each patient to understand every person’s unique needs and situation. This is even more important during the times of COVID to limit exposure and increase safety in the dental office. Taking time with each patient allows her to effectively educate patients about preventative dental care and about any treatment options if treatment is recommended.

In addition to graduating from University of the Pacific, Dr. Kristina Zoulas also attended University of the Pacific’s prestigious Advanced Education in General Residency program. Dr. Zoulas also completed a one year implant externship accredited by Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Zoulas has many years of extensive expertise in both implant placement and Invisalign, as well as serving as a dental instructor at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

Dr. Kristina Zoulas stays on the forefront of preventative dentistry through advanced continuing dental education, and is also committed to keeping the dental office “green-friendly” through such things as: computerized X-rays (to minimize radiation exposure and eliminate film processing chemicals), and a mercury-free policy. Dr. Zoulas also tries to eliminate plastic waste by avoiding the perfunctory handing out of plastic toothbrushes to her patients. We try to be mindful of our waste while maintaining the highest degree of safety throughout the office. Most importantly, Dr. Zoulas has devoted her career to treating all of her patients with the greatest care, and providing each patient with the best quality treatment.

Dr. Kristina Zoulas also believes in giving back to her community by contributing time and resources to several charitable organizations. Dr. Zoulas is a true Bay Area local, having been born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Zoulas is originally from San Jose, then attended college in the East Bay, and went to dental school in San Francisco. She and her husband, James, are the proud parents of Eleni and Dean.

Dr. Ganguly

Dr. Ganguly believes in treating every patient like family and providing the best in patient care. She is conservative in her approach towards dentistry and prefers to save natural teeth whenever it can be done. She keeps herself up to date with the latest technology in dentistry by attending continuing education courses.

After graduating from West Bengal University of Health Sciences in India, Dr. Ganguly received her Dental Degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. She also received her Masters degree in Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Washington, Seattle. She’s a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Francisco Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She speaks Hindi and Bengali.

She has helped organize and participate in free dental camps for kids in India and Nepal. Using data from these camps, she has studied the relationship between malnutrition and poor childhood oral health (with UC Berkeley researchers).
She loves travelling, cooking and spending time with her spouse and toddler.

Audrey, RDH

Dental Hygienist
I am very fortunate to be a part of the team as a hygienist for the past 30+ years. I attended UC Berkeley and then transferred to UCSF and graduated with a B.S. in dental hygiene in 1980. It is a long time to work in one place, but when you find the perfect job working with fabulous people for an awesome clientele, time passes quickly. When I am not cleaning teeth I am sewing. A hobby I started ten years ago has evolved into a small business. I make handbags and accessories out of an incredible material– thick German wool felt. It is a nice creative outlet and complements my technical profession. Outside of working and sewing some of my favorites are: walking my corgi dog in Golden Gate park, bicycling around my city of SF, farmers’ markets, simple modern design, Bi-Rite ice cream, and Haribo candy.
